Taking Flight
Have you ever dreamed that you were soaring over the city and zooming in-between homes like Peter Pan? The feeling can be so powerful, so real, that sometimes it can stay with you for hours after waking up! But this time…at least for tonight…the flying is real. This evening is the first few hours of our newly revamped beautylaunchpad.com website. And while just yesterday we walked through our editorial paces, tonight we’re finally zooming through cyberspace, reaching stylists and salon owners all over the world, and sharing so many things that are naturally limited with the print version of our magazine. So grab your wings, put on your best tressed attitude, and take a flight of fancy--with the LP staff, of course!--through BeautyLaunchpad.com.
Pssst…We’ll be adding more beauty aerobatics every few days from now on to help your career soar to new heights!

Study of personality and character traits based on hairstyle choices, line, direction, shape, size, texture, value & color.
(funny enough, that’s the name I gave the London Sassoon Tricology depts. When I realized they had no Tricologists on staff–early 70s).
'Personology'
Study of the facial features, a field of study, which relies on physiognomy and facial features to analyze and predict character traits and behavior.
I studied Personology in San Francisco when I was a national lecturer for Redken-60s)
'Phrenology'
Endeavors to read a person's character from the shape and particularly the peaks and valleys of the skull. There was a time when thought was, putting bumps on a person’s head could alter the personality.
'Phonology'
Study of the production, perception, and physical properties of speech sounds.
There are also the person’s vibrations that would tell us everything about them, if we could measure and read them. Possibly?
